Knights from the Kingdom of the Netherlands proudly participated in the Knights of Rizal Europe Consultative Meeting and Oath-Taking Ceremony, held on 7 March 2026 in Vilvoorde, Belgium. The event brought together members of the Order from across Europe to strengthen regional coordination, exchange ideas, and reaffirm their shared commitment to promoting the ideals and legacy of José Rizal.
The Netherlands Area was well represented during the European assembly by members from the Amsterdam and The Hague Chapters:

- Sir Steef Klarenbeek, KOR – The Hague Chapter
- Sir Mark Hernandez, KOR – Amsterdam Chapter

- Sir Rocky Robles, KR – Amsterdam Chapter
Leadership Installation for the Netherlands Area
A highlight of the gathering was the installation of new European Regional Officers including leadership for the Kingdom of the Netherlands:
Sir Anton Lutter, KCR – installed as Area Commander for the Kingdom of the Netherlands
Sir Chris Sta Brigida-Kopp, KCR – installed as Deputy Area Commander for the Kingdom of the Netherlands
The ceremonial oath-taking was presided over by Europe Regional Commander Sir Juanito Villa, KGOR, assisted by Deputy Regional Commander Sir Generoso Rebong, KGOR. The oath of office for newly appointed regional officers was administered by Sir Ambassador Jaime V. Ledda, KGOR, Philippine Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union.
Their appointments mark an important step in strengthening the Order’s presence and activities in the Netherlands. Under their leadership, the Netherlands Area aims to continue advancing Rizalian values—patriotism, civic virtue, service to community, and the promotion of Filipino heritage throughout Europe.
