We proudly announce the newly installed Chapter Commanders of the Knights of Rizal in the Netherlands for Rizalian Year 2026–2027.
Following the solemn Oath of Office ceremony held on 25 April 2026 at the Philippine Embassy in The Hague, the following Chapter Commanders have assumed their leadership roles:
• Sir Mark Andrew Hernandez, KCR – Chapter Commander, Amsterdam Chapter
• Sir Guido Ouwerkerk, KCR – Chapter Commander, The Hague Chapter
• Sir Danton Lacorum, KCR – Chapter Commander, Rotterdam Chapter
The oath-taking ceremony was officiated by Sir Johnny Villa, KGOR, Regional Commander of Europe, in the presence of distinguished knights and officials including Sir Alex Onia, KGOR, Supreme Council Archivist and Supreme Council Representative; Sir Lino Paras, KGCR, Pro Patria Awardee and Overall Adviser, Europe Region; Sir Jim Rebong, KGOR, European Regional Deputy Commander; Sir Geert Verhagen, KGOR, Area Commander for Belgium; Sir Anton Lutter, KCR, Area Commander for the Netherlands; Sir Chris Sta Brigida-Kopp, KCR, Deputy Area Commander for the Netherlands; and Minister Sir Jarie Osias, KCR, chargé d’affaires of the Philippine Embassy in The Hague.
As they begin their term, we extend our full support and wish them success in advancing the ideals of Dr. José Rizal and strengthening the Order across the Netherlands.
